BT Group has announced that it will reduce its total workforce from 130,000 employees today, to between 75,000 and 90,000 by the end of the decade. It is the latest in a long line of telecoms, media and tech companies recently to unveil a big job cuts (Vodafone earlier this week announced it was cutting its base by 11,000 people).
