Vodafone Spain swaps out legacy set-tops – Digital TV Europe

Vodafone España has begun swapping out of a large number of legacy set-top boxes and routers as it seeks to improve the experience of pay TV and broadband subscribers.

The Spanish arm of Vodafone has already completed the swap-out of 55,000 TiVo set-top boxes. It said that the new set-tops would deliver a differentiated and more fluid experience to users, in some cases with voice control, better sound quality with Bang & Olufsen-designed high-definition sound and the Alexa virtual assistant of Amazon.
