Orange has signed a distribution deal with OneWeb, the latest satellite communications company the telco is partering with in order to expand its service reach.
The deal will see Orange add connectivity provided by OneWeb’s low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites to its services provided to businesses and operators, including its own subsidiaries, through its wholesale business. While it is global, the deal is mainly focused on expanding connectivity services the operator can offer in rural and remote areas of Europe, Latin America and Africa.
