German cable operator Tele Columbus has confirmed that its chief technology officer, Dietmar Pöltl, is to leave the company at his own request on February 28.

Following his departure, as previously announced, his role will be the responsibility of Michael Fränkle, who will take up his position as member of the management board and CTO on February 1. To ensure a successful handover, Pöltl will however be available to the company until the end of February.
